Learning to Construct Knowledge
단순한 정보습득이 아닌 지식을 구성하는 방법의 습득이
바로 이루니 프로젝트 수업의 목표입니다.
이루니 프로젝트 수업을 통해 아이들은 특정 주제에 대해
심층적으로 탐구하며, 대상과의 직접적인 상호작용을 통해
문제를 이해하고 해결방안을 모색합니다.
더하여 삶과 학습의 유기적인 융합은 자신의 주변 세계를
스스로 이해하려는 내적 동기를 키워줍니다.
The aim of Yiruni's Project Approach is to develop
the ability to construct knowledge rather than
to passively gain knowledge.
Exploring a variety of subjects in depth,
our children learn ways in which a problem
can be accessed and solved.
Through our approach, children's daily lives and
learning experiences are organically integrated,
encouraging them to actively understand their surroundings.

도입
Introduction
아이들은 생활 속에서 만난 글자를 떠올리고
한글에 대한 생각과 궁금증을 자유롭게 나누며 탐구를 시작합니다.
Children begin their exploration by recalling the letters and words they encounter in everyday life, freely sharing their thoughts and questions about Hangul.
한글하면 무엇이 떠오르나요?
브레인스토밍을 통해 서로의 생각을 들으며
한글에 대한 경험을 유목화하고 주제망을 만들어 봅니다.
Through brainstorming, children listen to one another’s ideas, organize their experiences with Hangul into different categories, and create a topic web together.
"옛날 사람들은 한글이 없을 때 어떻게 말과 생각을 전했을까?"
아이들은 한글에 대해 궁금한 점을 자유롭게 이야기하며
질문 목록을 만듭니다.
친구들의 질문을 함께 살펴보고 각자의 생각으로 답을 예측해보며
앞으로 알아보고 싶은 내용을 정합니다.
“How did people in the past communicate their words and ideas before Hangul existed?”
Children freely shared their questions about Hangul and created a list of things they wanted to know.
Together, they explored one another’s questions, predicted possible answers based on their own ideas, and decided what they wanted to investigate further.
간판과 표지 등 우리 주변에서 쓰이는 한글을 발견하고
글자가 쓰이는 곳을 살펴봅니다.
Children discovered Hangul in their everyday surroundings, such as on signs and notices, and explored the many places where written language is used.

Children explore the characteristics and uses of Hangul through a variety of play-based activities, observations, and creative experiences.
Through hands-on discovery, they deepen their understanding of Hangul
and develop new questions for further exploration.
친구들과 협동하여 자음과 모음의
모양을 몸으로 표현해봅니다.
Working together with friends, children use their bodies
to createthe shapes of Hangul consonants and vowels.
거울을 보며 소리를 낼 때 입술과 혀의 움직임을 살펴보며
발음 기관을 관찰합니다.
Children look in a mirror as they make different sounds, observing
how their lips and tongue move and exploring how the speech organs work.

글자마다 좋아하는 그림과 무늬를 넣어 문자로 표현해봅니다.
Children explore the shapes of the Hangul letters
in their names and transform each letter into a
unique design using their favorite pictures and patterns.
한글 네온 사인을 만들며
색과 선으로 한글을 표현해봅니다.
Children create Hangul neon signs and express Hangul through color and line.
세종대왕이 만든 한글에 대해 이야기 나눈 뒤,
"세·종·대·왕" 네 글자로 사행시를 지어보았습니다.
각 글자로 시작하는 말을 떠올리고 친구들의 생각을 이어 붙이며
한글의 소중함을 재미있게 표현해봅니다.
After talking about Hangul, created by King Sejong,
children made a four-line acrostic poem
using the four syllables of his name: Se-jong-dae-wang.
They thought of words beginning with each syllable, built on one another’s ideas,
and expressed the value of Hangul in a fun and creative way.
글자 카드를 찾아요.
바닥에 펼쳐진 한글 글자 카드를 살펴보며 아는 글자를 찾아봅니다.
글자를 하나씩 읽고 카드를 고르는 놀이를 통해
한글과 더욱 친해집니다.
Let’s Find the Letter Cards!
Children look through Hangul letter cards spread out
on the floor and find the letters they recognize.
By reading the letters one by one and
choosing different cards through play,
they become more familiar and comfortable
with Hangul.
"한글이 없다면 내 이름은 어떻게 쓸까?"
"친구에게 하고 싶은 말을 어떻게 전할까?"
아이들과 한글이 없는 세상을 상상해보았습니다.
“How would I write my name if Hangul didn’t exist?”
“How would I share what I want to say with my friends?”
Together, the children imagined what the world would be like without Hangul.
예쁜 글씨 공모전
좋아하는 한글 낱말을 고르고,
한글자씩 정성껏 써서 작품을 완성했습니다.
친구들의 글씨를 함께 감상하며 저마다 다른 글씨의 멋을 발견하고
한글을 쓰는 즐거움을 느껴봅니다.
Children chose their favorite Hangul words
and carefully wrote each letter
to complete their own piece of artwork.
As they admired one another’s handwriting,
they discovered the unique beauty of different writing styles
and experienced the joy of writing in Hangul.
한글을 찾아 떠난 견학
전시 속 글자와 기록을 살펴보며
한글의 역사에 가까이 다가갔습니다.
By exploring the letters and historical records
in the exhibition, children gained a closer understanding
of the history of Hangul
세종대왕을 만나다.

세종대왕의 마음을 알아봅니다.
Children learn about King Sejong’s care for his people
and the thoughtful purpose behind the creation of Hangul.

expressing their gratitude for the creation of Hangul.

마무리
Reflection
아이들은 프로젝트를 통해 새롭게 알게 된 점과
기억에 남는 경험을 함께 나누며 배움을 되돌아봅니다.
자신의 생각과 느낌을 다양한 방식으로 표현하며
프로젝트를 의미 있게 마무리합니다.
Children reflect on what they have learned and
share the experiences that were most meaningful to them
throughout the project.

한글 사랑 캠페인을 해봅니다.
아이들과 함께 한글 사랑 포스터를 만들고 거리로 나가
한글의 아름다움과 소중함을 알렸습니다.
Together, the children created posters
to promote their love for Hangul
and went out into the community to share the beauty
and value of Hangul with others.
선비가 되어 과거 시험에 도전해요.
선비의 마음가짐으로 글을 쓰고
자신의 생각을 표현했습니다.
Becoming Scholars and Taking the Gwageo Examination
Children stepped into the role of traditional scholars,
practiced thoughtful writing, and expressed
their own ideas with care.

A Proud Moment of Success
As the Hangul project came to a close,
children celebrated the joy of
successfully completing their Gwageo experience.
